Cross Border Reproductive Care Survey

Linda Hammer Burns /USA and Jean Haase/Canada are currently conducting a survey to gain more information about why people are seeking treatment in other countries (Cross Border Reproductive Care - CBRC), what their experience is and the role that counsellors play in CBRC. The aim of the survey is to gain an impression of counsellors' role with clients seeking fertility care outside their own country or with clients coming in to the country for treatment. A similar study is being undertaken with patient groups and with physicians. Being able to provide information from an infertility counseling perspective can contribute towards a better understanding in this dynamic area.
