The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority has launched a brand new introductory guide to help people who are at the beginning of their fertility treatment journey.
Getting Started explains the different fertility treatments available, what to think about before you begin, what to expect when you visit a clinic, funding options, potential risks and where to get support.

In April 2010, we're launching a new service to enable contact between people who share the same sperm, egg or embryo donor.
This will be called Donor Sibling Link and initial pre-launch information about what it does and who it is for can be found on our website at http://www.hfea.gov.uk/donor-sibling-link.html
Donor Sibling Link will be only available to those born as a result of donor-conception treatment in a HFEA licensed clinic after August 1991; who have reached the age of 18 and who wish to share their contact details with their donor-conceived siblings. read more »
There will be a new, free support group for any individual or couple that have had problems or are having problems conceiving, maintaining a pregnancy, wanting pre-conception health information, information on natural fertility awareness or information on assisted conception.
The aim of the service is to provide education and support to those with infertility issues, having difficulty maintaining a pregnancy or who may be going through or thinking of assisted conception treatment. read more »
