To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA) have collaborated with the International Infertility Counselling Organisation (IICO) to jointly arrange a workshop on the challenges for counsellors and other infertility professionals both in the UK and overseas as people increasingly cross borders for treatment.  This is at the Excel Centre, London on Saturday 6 July 2013 and has attracted many international colleagues with an interest in the psychosocial aspects of infertility.

Research Participation Request

Please find below information on a Fertility Counselling Research project from Nicola Doherty of the University of Warwick

Dear BICA Member,

I am a PhD student at the University of Warwick. As part of my research, I wish to explore the support and information that counsellors in fertility clinics provide patients when they seek treatment with donated embryos, or double donation. Input from fertility counsellors will be invaluable to further our understanding of this relatively unexplored area of research.
